On the second day of Christmas, I will give to you – Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters that are simple to dooooo! Even my virtual singing is terrible, but you get the idea. This is another quick and easy no-bake concoction that will be a hit with the kids and adults alike. My kids said it looked like reindeer poop but they ate it anyway.
I usually spend lots of time in the kitchen, not just because that is where I have set up my “office” but because I like food and that is where the food lives. I spend a lot of time cooking and creating for everyone in the family, so it is obviously not just me that likes food. I love to try a new recipe and make my kids try a food that can’t spell. During the holidays it seems I spend even more time in the kitchen because there is a certain indulgence about the holidays that makes it okay to make 75 pounds of sweets in a few short weeks. If you just aren’t into sitting down and eating yourself into a dark chocolate food coma, I suppose you could package your creations for gifts. I do a little of both.
This is the second recipe in my Twelve Days Of Christmas Sweets recipe series. You can find more yummy sweets for your holiday below – but if you’re looking for another quick recipe to whip up, try these Easy No-Bake Chocolate Bites
I found these cool little gift boxes that we are going to fill up with all our Twelve days Christmas Sweets to give out to our friends, neighbors, Oliver’s teacher and principle, and other indulgent folks we might run into this holiday. This is another recipe that the kids can help with and everyone loves a recipe made with love! (spoon licking included!)
